Jeremy Weaver over at Doxoblogy explains the best hermeneutic with his post God's Glory In Christ-My Hermeneutic.

He explains,

...none of what has been written in this post is to the neglect of the literal interpretation of Scripture. It is all founded upon the literal reading of texts in their historical contexts. It is not a method of reading Christ into the text (eisogesis), rather it is finding where He really is in the text....
