Meme: What has God been Teaching Me?

I was tagged by ElShaddai who was tagged by TC Robinson for a meme started by Roger Mugs.  I've never been a fan of memes, but I decided to do this one anyway.  :)

In an effort to keep it simple, short, and easy to follow, I’d like to challenge you to quote one verse (not one chapter). And then say what the Lord has been teaching you in one sentence (not one paragraph). Then tag 5 peeps (you know the drill).

I happen to be reading through Genesis recently.  So this is good timing.

I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed” (Genesis 12:3).

The only way Abraham is blessed is by believing in the One (Jesus) through whom all the families of the earth shall be blessed because that is the only way God blesses us.
